Space Daily operates without collecting any personally identifiable information (PII). Here is how data is handled:

• No Account Required: You can access all app features without creating an account or logging in.
• Local Device Storage: Favorite images, bookmarks, and cached astronomy data are stored locally on your device only.
• NASA API Key (Optional): If you choose to provide a personal NASA API key in Settings, it is stored securely on your device's Keychain and never transmitted to our servers.

3. Third-Party Services and APIs

To provide daily astronomy pictures and Mars rover imagery, Space Daily connects directly to official public NASA APIs:

• NASA Open Data APIs: Network requests for Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) and Mars rover photos are sent directly from your device to NASA's public endpoints.
• No Third-Party Trackers: Space Daily does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs, data brokers, or user behavioral tracking frameworks.

4. App Permissions

Space Daily may request access to the following system features only when initiated by you:

• Photo Library (Save to Photos): Requested only when you explicitly choose to save an astronomy photo to your device's photo library.
• Internet Connection: Used solely to fetch public imagery and descriptions from NASA.

5. Children's Privacy

Space Daily does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Because no personal information is collected from any user, the application complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and international child privacy regulations.
